Oh. My Lord. It's hotter than the hinges of hell outside. I can barely force myself to go get the mail. There are loads of people at the pool right now, and even that sounds wretched. Someone once said that Southern women don't sweat, they glisten. Well then I'm shining brighter than a diamond. Gross. I'm posting now instead of doing what I need to do, which is run errands and go in to work for a little bit. I think I'm going to start living like a vampire and only go out at night. I'll sleep through this suffocating season, thank you very much.

Last night at 9 pm it was 98 degrees. you are gonna have to wait till the wee hours of the morning to venture out.
