Every time I see this photo, I think the same thing: The California sky is so blue, it looks fake.
I took the Ferris wheel picture on the Santa Cruz boardwalk in August 2008 when I went to visit Brooke. We spent the entire day playing silly games, taking snapshots in a photo booth, eating food on a stick, and spinning and flying on carnival rides. We took a breather on the Ferris wheel, and when we got stuck on top for a bit, we had breathtaking panoramic views of the Pacific all to ourselves.
I think the goal of my visit that year was to forget about my life back home completely, and that day on the boardwalk was absolute perfection. (Except for when we got a little dizzy on the tunnel of love ride. But that could've been the corn dogs.) I want to go back. (Hey, Brooksie, I've been practicing my skee-ball skillz.)
We ended the evening here (twice), cause we're fearless like that.

I love it. I think we should go to California in the very near future.
