Yeah, yeah. I know it's expensive. And not eco-friendly. A total indulgence. Overpriced and maybe even overrated. Maybe. But I want a Range Rover SO so badly. I think silver, because that still works with the color scheme on football weekends. (Silver britches, anyone?) I made Sean promise me that he'd buy me one some day, long before he saw me lusting after one on Kelly Blue Book and saw the price tag. (I'm WAY into cars, but him, not so much. He didn't realize how steep the price tag is.) I'll even take a Range Rover Sport. That knocks a good $20K off the price tag.
I'm so generous.
I should probably just settle for a shiny poster.

Car Lust

This isn't really an indulgence, but I've been hustling hard for a Honda CRV. But my husband has all of these lame excuses like, "Your car is paid for, and it's under warranty, and it gets great gas mileage, and we have a baby who wears diapers, drinks formula, and goes to day care." Blah blah blah.
Ha! I'm working towards a mini-van... that's right people. Try fitting three kids in the backseat of a car, not possible (No, I don't have three kids, but there are often three kids with me). I'd like a Range Rover too, but what I'd really like is a Jeep Wrangler (but only for a summer car, it would have the top down all summer long, so I'd need another car to drive when it was (a) too hot, (b) raining or (c) winter oh, and a garage to keep it parked in).
So you need a new house too?
Now I am happy with my Explorer, mind you, but if I had unlimited funds, I also love a Range Rover. I imagine driving one would make me feel both sporty and wealthy--currently, I am neither.
Which is why it's so out of reach...
Hey, Miss Connie said you're sporty! So you're halfway there (although I suspect the weathy part might be key).
By "weathy" I meant "wealthy." Sigh.
I think I'm getting a Honda CRV. Sorry, Katie. And Heinz still hasn't decided what he wants. All the time he asks me what I think about a car on the street. After awhile they all look the same.
I'm more into the gadgets. Right now I'm really wanting an iPhone. I'm waiting for the 3G version.
My gold cavalier has about had it. I want a new car so bad. However, I also enjoy eating food and having heat and water and all those crazy things.
Guess there's not a car in my near future. Sigh.
KB: I think you need the CRV. See, you can sell the paid-for car and use it as a down payment on the new one. Or maybe Justin can drive the Corolla and you can lease a CRV.
Omg, the thought of Justin crunched up in your car...ha ha.
