During the previews for Mamma Mia today, I heard the three old ladies sitting behind us have this conversation after a run of particularly horrid trailers.
#1: Is Hollywood going broke or something?
#2: I don't know what their problem is.
#3: They've lost their minds, I tell you what.
Surprisingly (to me) there were quite a few old folks at the movie. I know Mamma Mia is a musical, but the storyline is not exactly wholesome.

You mean they don't want to see Death Race?
My mother in law just went to see Mama Mia and she said the theater was packed with old ladies and their daughters... so there must be some appeal...
Hahaha!! That reminds me of those movie critic muppets.
I don't get the comment about Hollywood going broke. I imagine Death Race cost a pretty penny! Mirrors too! Now that Kirk Cameron movie...that probably cost about $42.
I took it to mean was Hollywood so hard up for money that they were making any old film they could, even if they suck big-time, as I imagine most of those will.
$42. ha ha ha ha ha
it's OUR birthday month - yay:) can't wait to see you this week!
Hey, Kristen! Happy Birthday Month to you too!
I'm still laughing about $42.
