My Opinion is...

The McDonald's biscuit commercial is stupid. It's the one where the girl talks about getting up super early to prepare scratch-made biscuits. What? Is the phrase not, "made from scratch?" Why do we have to change it up to something dumb? "Scratch-made" sounds ridiculous and also kind of gross.

Am I alone in this one?

I haven't seen that one yet.

the most annoying commercial ever.....the cell phone commercial-don't know which one-where the couple are saying "we should get one, I think we should get one...." in a sing song lovey dovey voice
but the salesman at the end starts talking just like them and I laugh every....single....time.....as I say that this is the most annoying commercial ever.

anyway, I digress. Scratch-made does sound gross. like you were scratching something unmentionable while you were making biscuits.

Yeah, are the biscuits at McDonald's that good? No, they are not.

In my opinion, the most annoying commercial is the Subway one on the radio. The guy is talking about their low-fat subs "not including high-fat condiments such as may-o-nnaise." The way he pronounces mayonnaise drives me batty.

Even better is the McDonald's commercial wherein the man says, "My daughter makes the best biscuits. Lucky for you, she works at McDonald's." Don't tell me her dad isn't the least bit disappointed that his kid is working at Mickey D's for a living.

On the subject of annoying commercials...if I see another, "He went to Jared!" advert, I'm going to strangle this Jared person, whoever the hell he is.

Good call on the Jared commercials. Those are among the worst. Haven't seen the biscuit commercials either. My favorite McDonalds commercial is this one: http://nsnotables.blogspot.com/ (check it out on my blog).

Wow, Nat! Shameless promotion of your own blog.

Yes, scratch-made sounds disgusting! I totally agree.

And the may-o-nnaise thing is painful to listen to.

But, by far, Jared is the worst.

Natalie, that bit of promotion is gonna cost you $150. Cash or money order, please.

Just kidding. If y'all don't read it already, check out Natalie's new blog!

You all seem to have forgotten about Oxi Clean. Last week Layton called me in from another room when one of those commercials was on to tell me how annoying it was. He's seven!!!

Back to the biscuits--have any of your actually had one? I had one a while ago, maybe before they were scratch-made, but just say no and run to nearest chick-fil-a...unless it is Sunday which is why I might have been there in the first place, sigh.

Know what else is bad? Empire.

Sing with me now. 800-588-two, three hundred. Empirrrrrre.

I think Empire is kind of catchy. If I ever need carpet or flooring (or I THINK they do windows now too) and can't think of any other place to go, I'll always have their number.

What about Sticks-n-Stuff? And I just put a Jared post on my blog!

That McDonald's commercial needed a copy editor.

Leah. Sticks-n-Stuff commercials are not annoying, they're awesome .
